Agro alimentary certifications

Anxious to preserve their health and to better manage the planet's natural ressources, consumers turn more and more towards authentic, environment friendly quality food. The certification of an agro-alimentory product answers all these expectations by carrying an objective guarantee of its conformity to a system of reference. Its characteristics are known and indexed in a validated schedule of standards. It is rigorously controlled not only by the company which produces it, but also by the BVQI (Bureau Véritas Quality International). This certification makes it possible moreover to clearly distinguish it from over products.

Accredited by COFRAC (Accreditation French Comission) and in agreement with the Ministry for Agricultural and Fishing, BVQI France will objectively attect that the stated characteristics of the certified agro-alimentory products are well founded. The objective is to improve safety, to increase openness and to ensure the confidence thet every-one has the right to request. The industrial purchaser and the ens-user are therefore assured of finding guaranteed quality on a regular basis. The certification of agro-alimentory products is defined by national and E.U texts. BVQI can thus enable a producer to affix various official signs on his alimentory products.

The Certification of Conformity of a Product
The logo 'Asset Certified Quality' attests that the product has particular production qualities, which are strictly controlled. It is the guarantee of consistent quality which is distinct from that of the usual product.

The Red Label
This guarantees the superior quality of a product. Its taste quality is the result of strict requirements and the fact that the product is controlled at all the stages of production and marketing.

The  NF Mark
NF AGRO guarantees that the product conforms to the quality characteristics fixed by AFNOR (NF standards) which appoints BVQI France to carry out the certification.
These are two E.C. signs which can supplement the official French signs.

The certificate of Specificity
This comes about the attribution of a Guaranteed Traditional Speciality mention (GTS). It does not refer to the origin, but to its value as a traditional product.

The protected Geographical Index
The PGI concerns food whose production or transformation has taken place in recognized and stated area.

Combined products /systems certifications
The certification of agro-alimentary products is an undeniable asset which makes it possible to reinforce your image with the distributors and consumers.
This certification can be supplemented by that of the quality of your system (according to ISO 9000 standards) and the environment (IS0 14000), by a HACCP or 'Agri Confiance' certificate. Indeed, BVQI France suggests group interventions, where the same auditors carry out an examination of the system and the product at the same time. This therefore enables you to optimize the costs relating to certification.

HACCP Certification
This is a new tool proposed by BVQI for evaluating the system of mastering the risks (processes, products) of the ISO 9000 certified (or not) industries.
This HACCP certification is based on the Danish standard DS 3027 "Food safety according to HACCP requirement to be met by food companies and their subcontractors ". It concerns a methodology accredited and tested in Europe (the Netherlands, Denmark...) which goes beyond the requirements of the EC 93/43 directive which it integrates.
The HACCP Certification makes it possible to make the most of your pledge to control food safety when dealing with other companies in the sector.

“Agri Confiance“ Certification
BVQI is approved to certify according to the requirements' of the “Agri Confiance“ reference framework. It is a specific insurance quality program, adapted to the bodies of agricultural production. It groups the producers and the agricultural cooperatives in common progress and a reciprocal commitment to quality control and respect for the environment.
As time goes on, the opening of the markets and the increase in international competition will demand better efficiency and productivity. Quality consequently becomes a determining competitive advantage.
A true working tool, the quality system makes it possible to master processes while moving with progress.

BVQI, one of the world leaders in certification, is recognized by the accredited bodies of 18 countries. Our position in the international market is illustrated by our active participation in a great number of professional organizations working toward the development of the quality insurance standards.

BVQI is an active member of :
