General organizational principles of a seaproduct packaging and expedition center
(European reglementation, European directive of 15th july 1991 91/492/CEE)

AQUALOG prepared for several years the stake for the European standards of the buildings for fish and shell packaging. The rule imposes the creation or the stake on the European standards of units of packaging, expedition for the marketing of the products of the fishing, the shellfish farming and the fish farming. As a general rule, these have to follow the standards of the European Directive of July 15th, 1991, 91 492 / CCE.

Several major rules have to be applied :
- Buildings do not have to be near sources of unpleasant, smoked smells and the other pollutants.
- The finish of the building, the used materials and the handlings do not have to entail the contagion of products.
- The dimensions of these buildings have to allow the walking forward with a premises for the reception of products and a premises to keep fishes or shells shielded from the reheating in wait of the expedition.
- The traffic must not be crossed and the clean and soiled sectors must be separated well. The ground, the walls and the ceiling must be made with a smooth material and easy in cleaning.
- The ventilation must be sufficient. The lighting must be sufficient.
- No unwanted animal has to have access to buildings.
- An installation of drinking water under pressure in sufficiency must be foreseen with sufficient and suitably arranged intakes of water.
- No command of washbasin must be manual. Wardrobes and WC have not to look directly into the workroom.
- The temperature in working areas has to be 20 ° C.
